Maternity Session

CONGRATULATIONS! Such a special time in your life - take it all in!

My maternity photoshoots are relaxed and stress free. It includes a mix of guided natural positioning, along with lots candid moments. 

Maternity Sessions are best taken between 29-35 weeks, depending on how you’re feeling. 

Sessions can be at your home, which works well if you have a lot of natural light (I can bring lighting if needed) or at an outdoor location.

With the hour we will take all combinations you like and make sure to get all of the special details important to you, including your partner and/or siblings! Even pets (they are family too!)

Your maternity pictures should reflect who you are so it’s important that you dress in an outfit that reflects your personal style. Fitted clothing allows your baby bump to be the star of the shoot but flowy dresses/tops photograph really well too. Bring several different options and your favourites so you feel comfortable! I do have a selection of maternity gowns if you wish, you are more than welcome to wear them! Don't forget any gifts, blankets, booties, hats you want to include.

The most important thing is to feel comfortable!

Newborn Lifestyle Sessions

Baby is here!!! Let's get you home and settled!

I will bring everything to YOU so all you have to do is focus on yourself and baby! You have everything you need at home... no need to pack and up and travel! Unless you are feeling adventurous!

Options for great spots in your home may be the family/living room, nursery and the master bedroom. Please don't worry about cleaning up, we do't need alot of space and will walk through and talk it out before we start the session :)

Sessions are all unique and we will go with baby's schedule! We will make sure to capture family time together, baby and siblings/pets and then all baby in a mix of posed and candid. If there are siblings, we will get those photos first! Sessions range in length as we may need to break for feeding, diaper changes and soothing!

It's all good! We will go with the flow!

You want your baby to be the central focus of the images so keeping everything else simple and neutral is key.  Neutrals/light colours (creams, whites, greys, earth tones or pastel tones) and soft textures work best for newborn family pictures. Blue jeans photograph really well too. You don’t want to exactly match with your spouse, rather coordinate within the same colour scheme.

For the baby, a simple well-fitted onesie would be perfect as anything else usually looks overwhelming on a newborn. If you have some nice swaddling blankets/wraps for the baby we can incorporate those too.

Option One:   30 minute session $190.00 + hst

Option Two:   1 hour session $290.00 + hst

All sessions include pre-photoshoot consultation, photoshoot, all of your images; 

high resolution jpg, lightly retouched for your personal use!
